RavenZie Beauty Polcies

Waivers are sent through Square to your email and must be completed before your appointment

In hopes to provide the best services that I can in a timely manner these policies help ensure I can achieve that. Just as you want your time respected, this must be a mutual connection to ensure a healthy client and stylist relationship

 

No Cell Phones During Services:

 

Please turn off cellphones and put them away while getting your service. If you are awaiting a call, then please inform before the service starts. Headphones connected to your phone as a hands free item is permitted. This prevents any excess movement or distractions while I perform my service. 

 

Talking:

 

Talking during the service is permitted. However, keep in mind that excess movement can cause hazards. I have two tweezers (during extension services) right by your eyes. Chemical Services are a strict silent service due to the nature of these services. 

 

Arrivals:

 

For your very first appointment, please aim to be about 5 minutes early. During this appointment we will go over what your wishes and wants are with your services. Come with makeup free eyes and no contacts. Please respect if I am with a client before you, I will invite you in or have the door open when ready. Due to the back to back nature of my appointments, the earliest I can accept you is 5 minutes before.

 

Bringing Children:

 

In order to maintain a safe and relaxing environment, children should not accompany clients to appointments whenever possible. If a child is present, they must remain seated, quiet, and out of work areas for the duration of the appointment. RavenZie Beauty is not responsible for supervising children during appointments. Services may be modified, rescheduled, or discontinued if a child becomes disruptive or creates a safety concern.  

 

Aftercare:

 

RavenZie Beauty is not held liable for any damage done to lashes outside of the service time. I have given the knowledge and proper care instructions to all of my clients. While I understand things happen, you must inform me of any reaction within 48 hours of your appointment time. At that point, we will do patch testing and evaluate what went wrong. If improper maintenance keeps occurring, I do have the right to inform you and encourage you to take a break from lashes. If you choose to go against my professional expertise, I am not held responsible for any damage done. I hold a high standard in keeping the natural integrity of the lashes healthy. 

Clients must contact within 24 hours and come in (when possible) within 48 hours for any possible corrections to be honored. Depending on the issue of the correction, you may still be charged. 


 

Cancellation Policy:

 

I am an independent artist, this means my income depends on your ability to come to your appointments. To protect my income and time, I have created a cancellation policy. 

Important: To cancel an appointment, It must be you that contacts me. Unless it's an emergency situation, then someone else may inform me. If you are a parent to a child who sees me who is under 18, you may contact in place of them. I understand things happen but I hope you can respect my time by giving me notice. 

 

What is considered a same day cancellation/24 hour? An appointment canceled before the expected start time 

What is considered a no show? When a client is past their appointment time and fails to notify about a cancellation. While a client may contact later, this will still be considered a no show in the event that the appointment time has passed. After 15 minutes, it is likely that I am unable to take the service and will encourage the client to reschedule. 

Charges regarding Cancellations:

 

Clients arriving 15 minutes late or more may be charged a $15 late fee, have their service modified or asked to reschedule

 

24 hours before appointment:

No charge

 

After 24 hours:

 

No call, No show:

90% of service charged

 

Call/text within 24 Hours:

50% of service charged


 

Sickness

 

Due to sick seasons seeming to become more and more year round I ask if you or a household member is sick, please reschedule your appointment.

 

Other Artists (Foreign Refills):

 

You may have an additional fee of $25. This is due to the uncertainty of maintenance and health of the overall lash line. I have professionally lashed for a few years and have seen my fair share of improper applications. If I deem your lashes healthy enough and close enough to the systems I use, I will accept the service. If the lashes are poor health, too heavy, improperly attached or overall not the look I accept, there is a chance I will deny your service. To ensure my professional standing and upholding regulations, I may ask you to remove your set and get a full set by me if you'd like to continue. It is more than likely this last part will happen due to the huge number of untrained lash artists in the industry. No discounts will be given for denial of service. Acceptance of foreign fills is determined solely by RavenZie Beauty. 

 

After Hours:

 

While a majority of my clients either have my personal or salon number and may want to contact me, I may not always be able to answer after hours. If you contact me outside of hours I will do my best to get back to you in a timely manner. There will be occasions where I may accept clients on my off days, after hours or before hours to squeeze them in. Please understand this will not always be the case. Calls and text messages sent after business hours will not be responded to until the next day. 

 

Refunds:

 

Due to the nature of these services, all sales are final and refunds are not offered once the service has been performed. Since product and time has been used to create your service, I cannot justify a refund. I do not offer pre-pay, gift cards or partial payments for any services at this time. 

 

Payment methods:

Payment will be made to the Business via cash, an approved payment card, or by any other payment method determined by the Business. If any of these items are denied or bounced, the business has the right to deny future services or take legal action. 

 

Licensing:

The Business promises that it holds all licenses necessary to perform the work, that such licenses are valid and effective as of the date any work is performed or services provided, and that all work performed or services provided will be done in compliance with all applicable federal, state, or local laws and regulations.

 

Photo use and release:

Before any photos are taken for posts, consent will be asked. If a client verbally says no to a photo, no photo will be posted. 

By signing this part of the waiver the client agrees that RavenZie Beauty is able to use all photos taken for promotional, advertising and social media uses.

This clause must still be signed to receive services. Photos still may be taken for documentation purposes of the business. 

 

Termination:

 

With this agreement and acknowledgement of services, RavenZie Beauty has the right to terminate service at any time for any given reason. Client has been sent a copy of their waiver in completion of signing. 

 

Agreement: 

 

In the action of booking, scheduling or receiving any appointments with RavenZie Beauty, the client agrees to all the policies listed.

While square uses the word contract, this represents more of a waiver or agreement.
